FourSquare Integration

FourSquare Integration with WordPress. View your last checkins as a list OR on Google Map on Pages/ Posts. Customize as per your need.

This plugin shows your last Check-ins on your wordpress blog/posts and also in sidebar (next release). Foursquare is primarily for letting your friends know where you are and figuring out where they are. Secondarily, it’s for collecting points, prize “badges,” and eventually, coupons, for going about your everyday business. And it’s becoming popular. Foursquare now has almost 300,000 users in less than a year.

Features:

  • Easy way to share/show your FourSquare’s last check-ins
  • Intuitive interface for editing options, with plenty more power under the hood
  • Show check-ins on BLOG’s post and page
  • Show your social checkins and get more friends
  • Java Script enabled Google Map (It will load on iPhone too :) )
  • NEW: Widget Option Added. (List view and Map view in Widget Area)
  • NEW: Option to specify Height, Widget, Title, Number of checkins in Admin Panel. Settings -> 4sq Integration
  • Option to disable Map View

Still getting the “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()” in “integration.php on line112″ after upgrading to the newest version. I fix this by going into your plugin and replacing the feed to my actual feed. I think something is messing up rss feed variable.

    :/

@AaronReimann GDay AaronReimann. If I get it correctly, it’s working for you now. Sometimes I also get this error because of some RSS feed by foursquare.

      • AaronReimann

@netCrunched@AaronReimann Look at my comment here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/its-not-working-1 . It only works when I replace line 103 with my actual rss feed.

Hi Rafael, currently this plugin doesn’t support php integration.

  • http://www.miss-britt.com Miss Britt

Is it possible to edit the plugin function file to display only the most recent check-in on the map, or at least to center on the most recent check in? I’m using it here:

    http://inpursuitofhappiness.net/map-schedule/

    • http://netcrunched.com/ NetCrunched

Hi Miss Britt, this plugin by default shows your recent check-ins.. You have option to select how many recent check-ins you want to show.

      • http://inpursuitofhappiness.net/blog Miss Britt

Editing the number of check ins only alters the number shown in the list. I wanted to alter how many are displayed on the map view.

I have enabled both the widget and the map and have posted the code

into the blog page and the other page that I would like to have the map show up and I am not getting any maps pop up on either page. Seems like a cool plug-in but not working for me.

    Cheers,
    Bo
