also my group have post id on end of address should for example https://www.facebook.com/groups/158662148266/ so do i need to change that 158662148266 with grooup name or it cant be used for groups?

I had to creat a new fan page and now I can’t get the plugin to work with my new name. I put in just the page name (Bridget Haymond – Christian Life Coaching) and it won’t work. I also added it with the full http address and it still won’t work… This is the error message I’m getting: “Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.”

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Hi,

I am trying to style the Like Box widget and not having much luck.

I read this article here:

And inserted the below code in the as_facebook_mem_options_page() function.

I then updated my WordPress style.css with new fb: css tags, however the widget refuses to restyle.

So how am I meant to restyle the widget correctly?

I need this to be transparent, exactly like it was before this ‘background color’ thing was added – so it won’t differ from my theme! How can I make the background transparent again?

Btw, changing the background color here has no effect – it is always white.

GDay Slotman, you could have transparant background by putting background color field empty. Do let me know if it wont work. Regarding, no effect, you may want to clear blog cache if you are using any cache plugin. Let me know.

Trying to add a Facebook Page Name and having problems. It seems to ignore the hyphen I have, which makes it put up another Facebook page instead of mine. Any ideas what I can do?

Hello! Very nice plugin. How can I add a title to it though? Currently, I can’t add a title, as a result it messes up my sidebar. For some reason, my theme requires a title, or else the sidebar gets wonky. I am comfortable with editing php files. Thanks in advance.

Hi, is there a way to modify your plugin so that it simply looks like it does in the Facebook Members settings area? Basically so it just looks like this and nothing more? I’ve been searching forever and have installed every fb wp plugin and yours is the closest but I don’t want the faces or stream but I have to enable faces to see the number of likes displayed. All I want displayed is the like button itself and immediately to the right the tiny facebook “f” with the number of people that like it. Can this be done in the options somewhere?Like173 people like this.

Sorry it didn’t paste my example: basically it’s the like icon with a tiny “f” to the right, then the number of likes, nothing more. That’s what I’m trying to accomplish in the Facebook Member settings as it’s displayed that way directly above the settings but then it’s not obvious how to modify to that exact format.
